Areas of Practice and Professional Experience
Mrs. Kronengold's professional experience is focused on the representation of employers, both private and public sector, in labor and employment matters. This includes:
- Providing employers with Consulting and Preventative Services, and advising employers regarding compliance measures
- Defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and similar federal and state laws;
- Representation in Wage and Hour claims and lawsuits; and
- Representation in investigations and enforcement actions conducted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department of Labor, and similar federal and state agencies.
Mrs. Kronengold’s primary goal is to prevent an employment issue from reaching the point of litigation. She conducts compliance audits and provides advice to clients on a wide range of workplace issues, such as hiring and separation, discipline, response to and investigation of harassment and discrimination complaints, and wage and hour issues. She also assists with the development of workplace policies and procedures, and conducts management and supervisory training.
